“ What a fun place to warm up with fine food and drink on a rainy blustery night! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with our feeble attempts to speak French (they spoke English!), the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, the food was great, and the location was in perfect proximity to the Old City of Metz. “ An amazing dinner on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. My husband & I shared the very best Quiche Lorraine we have ever had anywhere!!! Absolutely delicious! Sky high, perfect crust, moist and a perfect combination of eggs, cream, cheese, ham & seasoned perfectly. We also shared the excellent Escargot & each had 2 glasses of lovely Champagne. Entrees were a perfectly grilled Angus Steak, sliced & served over the perfect complimentary sauce & a very good Cassoulet. For Dessert we shared a delectable Lemon Meringue Pie. We think our Server’s name was Gilles & he was so sweet trying to understand us as he spoke little English & our French is pitiful. His Service was excellent!! He was very special & the Maitre ‘D/Manager was also very nice to us & helped translate as needed. What an memorable event this entire Dinner was! We found it online as we neared Metz & after reading the reviews we stopped for an early dinner on a rainy night. The location beside the very beautiful Metz Cathedral was an added bonus.
